So, as you may or may not know, I'm originally a country girl! I've been in London for ten years, but have always tried to get down to my home county of Somerset several times a month, both to shoot weddings, and visit my parents, who live near Castle Cary. So I thought this was the perfect opportunity to do a blog about some of the best London wedding venues with plenty of foliage!
The obvious place to start is with beautiful Kew Gardens in west London. If you're looking for greenery, it doesn't get much better than this. If you'd like to take a peek at Kew, they are currently offering virtual tours - you can take a look here.

This city oasis boasts 5000 rare, beautiful and botanically significant plants. You can either hire The Gallery or enjoy a marquee outside. The venue boasts so many gorgeous backdrops for photographs that you're spoilt for choice, and the location is conveniently central.

You can tie the knot at this beautiful outdoor venue, and it comes with a photography license that you'll definitely want to make use of. There are three different locations to hold your ceremony, and with a maximum of 40 weddings per year, it's rather exclusive!

If you too have had to spend a lot of time apart from your family due to coronavirus, sending you a big hug from Chelsea! I hope looking at some of these gorgeous venues has brought a smile to your face, or perhaps inspired you to tie the knot at one of them!
I absolutely LOVE all of these venues, some of which are still on my bucket list to shoot at! If you are looking for a London documentary wedding photographer, I'd love to have a chat. Drop me a message at hello@queenbeaphotography.co.uk and tell me all about your plans!
